The packets have ~15g of carb (compared to the ~2g in the tablets) so they’re best for athletes who want to enhance electrolyte absorption and maximise fueling. 1 packet (1 serving) contains 250mg of sodium, as it is designed to be mixed in 500ml/16oz of water to achieve the relative concentration of 500mg of sodium per 1L/32oz.
